About Hancock Place Doodles Welcome to Hancock Place Doodles, a small, family-run Goldendoodle program located in Ocala, Florida. We believe raising puppies is about much more than producing beautiful dogs. It is about giving each puppy the health, foundation, socialization, and individual attention they need to become a wonderful family companion. Our puppies are born and raised inside our home, not in a kennel environment. They grow up surrounded by our family and are exposed to the everyday sights, sounds, people, and routines of a busy home. They are also introduced to children, other dogs, cats, horses, sheep, and the many experiences that come with life on our small Central Florida farm. We are intentional about keeping our program small because quality over quantity matters to us. We want to know each puppy individually and take the time to help them develop into confident, well-adjusted companions. Health Comes First Our breeding dogs are health tested before becoming part of our program. We believe responsible breeding begins with making thoughtful decisions about the health and temperament of the dogs we choose to breed. Our puppies receive appropriate veterinary care, vaccinations and deworming, microchipping, and a veterinary health examination before going home. Families also receive their puppy's health records and information to help make the transition home as smooth as possible. More Than Just Socialization Our puppy program is designed to give puppies a strong start from the very beginning. Puppies are introduced to age-appropriate enrichment, early neurological stimulation, scent introduction, different surfaces and sounds, daily handling, car rides, children, adults, other dogs, and other animals. We also begin positive potty and crate training before puppies leave for their families. Our goal is not to send home a puppy who has simply been raised, but a puppy who has already started learning how to navigate the world. We Match Families, Not Just Puppies Every family is different, and every puppy is different. Rather than simply allowing families to choose a puppy based on color or appearance, we take the time to learn about each family's lifestyle, home, experience, and expectations. We use that information to help make the best possible match between puppy and family. Our Relationship Doesn't End at Go-Home Day Bringing home a puppy is the beginning of a relationship, not the end of a transaction. We provide our families with information and resources to help them get started, and we remain available throughout their dog's life for questions, guidance, and support. We want our puppy families to feel like part of the Hancock Place family long after their puppy leaves our home.
