I have been breeding for 34 years. I used to show Briards, Tibetan Terriers and Lowchens. Shih Tzu are my favorite breed but I could not handle the top knot and the long coat. I stopped showing in 2005. I was involved in Canine Freestyle Dance through The Obedience Club of Daytona. I was a lifetime member. Our dog dancing group was called the Canine Fancy Dancers. We put on shows for the public once a year. I also did dog obedience. I have 3 Ukraine lines. Rebel has 52 champions, Tazz has 50 and Devon who was sired by Kai has 33. I no longer own Kai but Devon will carry on his lines. My girls are all from the Tallis lines. Vida Ellis Hughes was a deer friend of mine. She succumbed to cancer several months ago. She was a great breeder. She taught me a lot. My dogs are healthy and have great lines. Some have done very well in obedience, Rally, dog dancing and Barnhunting. One has been purchased to be trained as an Emotional Support Animal. My friend has her dogs certified as pet therapy dogs. Shih Tzu are very smart. Life is better with a Shih Tzu.
