Meet Old River Aussies

Welcome to Old River Aussies! We're a small, family-owned kennel located in Bakersfield, California. We have a genuine love for Australian Shepherds and everything that makes them such amazing companions. We take pride in giving our puppies a great start in life. Before going to their new homes, our puppies receive their first round of vaccinations, deworming treatments, and a veterinary wellness exam. Their tails are docked, dewclaws are removed, and we even introduce pine pellet potty training to help make the transition to their new homes a little easier. When it comes to their health, we don't cut corners. We trust Thurman Veterinary Center, who we consider the best in Bakersfield, to help us make sure our puppies are healthy and ready for their next chapter. We also welcome scheduled visits and FaceTime calls because we want families to feel comfortable and confident when choosing their newest family member. At Old River Aussies, we're proud of the care we put into our puppies, and nothing makes us happier than seeing them go to loving homes.
