Meet Oodles of Bernedoodles

Hello, I'm Shelly Skuza, and I'm the proud owner of Oodles of Bernedoodles, located in the picturesque town of Springville, Utah. I'm married with 3 kids. My journey into breeding Bernedoodles started when I first saw a Bernedoodle puppy from a friend. He didn't seem real because how could a stuffed animal come to life? From there I got one puppy to be a friend to my older dog. When my older dog passed, I got another Bernedoodle to be a companion to my first one. To me, Bernedoodles embody the perfect blend of charm and companionship. ​In my previous career, I worked as a software engineer and UX researcher. However, a desire to be closer to my family led me to take a step back from the corporate tech world. I wanted to do something that would bring me joy. I can't imagine anything more joyful than breeding adorable Bernedoodle puppies so others can also enjoy the magic I felt when I first held one. ​As the parent of a special needs child with a hereditary condition, I developed a keen interest in genetics. I strive to leverage scientific knowledge to ensure the well-being and happiness of every puppy in our breeding program. I hope our puppies bring you joy, health, and happiness for years to come.
