About US: -Friendly Breeders We live on a 40 acre ranch in Texas and have been raising animals of all types for over 20 years. We are not running a puppy mill. We do not allow any animal to have more than one litter per year. Any puppies that are not purchased will just live on the ranch and be adopted into the family. -Happy, Healthy Bloodline Grizzly (the father) is a fully registered Newfoundland. Grizzly has been certified from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, Inc. as having normal patellar luxation and no evidence of congential cardiac disease or hip dysplasia. Willow, (the mother) is a full blooded Landseer. Willow's parents were tested and had no issues either. -A Furever Friend Newfoundlands and Landseers are big friendly dogs. The males average around ************ pounds. The females average between 90 and 120 pounds. They eat a lot in the first two years as they are growing. However, once they are through growing they eat about as much a labrodor retriever. Even though they are large dogs, they do not need huge backyards. However, if you live in the south, these dogs do need to either be allowed inside or have a dog house that is kept cool.
