Meet Peaceful Acres Kennel

Welcome to Peaceful Acres Kennel! We're a family raising Dachshunds on our country farmette. Our days are filled with children, animals, and the simple joys of life together. Caring for our puppies is something we share as a family, and we're glad to introduce you to the people behind Peaceful Acres. We began breeding dogs in 2015, starting with German Shepherds. As our family's interests changed, we decided to focus on a smaller breed. In 2018, we began raising Dachshunds, and they have been part of our lives ever since. Our four children, ages 10, 8, 5, and 3, help with chores and spend time socializing the puppies. Their involvement makes raising puppies a family effort and gives our little ones opportunities to become familiar with children and regular interaction. Living in the country is something we love. Our farmette is also home to sheep, so caring for animals is a familiar part of our daily routine. We appreciate the responsibility that comes with that life and the chance to share it with our children. Choosing a puppy is a personal decision, and getting to know the breeder is part of that journey. At Peaceful Acres Kennel, our story includes years of breeding experience, a love for country living, and children who take part in caring for and socializing our puppies. We began breeding in 2015 and have focused on Dachshunds since 2018. Our family's involvement is an important part of what we do, and we welcome the opportunity to help you learn more about our puppies. Our children help with puppy care through chores and socialization. Time spent together gives the puppies regular interaction while teaching our children the responsibility of caring for animals.
