Meet Smith's Lowcountry Canines

My name is Natalie, and I am an ethical dog breeder based in Charleston, South Carolina. I currently work with German Shepherds, Australian Shepherds, and Border Collies. My program is built on a goal of long-term health, with the means of producing well-balanced dogs that thrive as both loyal companions and capable working partners. I focus on responsible, health-focused breeding practices using AKC-registered or purebred lineage, with all breeding dogs undergoing appropriate health testing. My dogs are raised in a structured, hands-on environment with daily care, training, and enrichment that helps build confidence, stability, and strong real-world manners. From an early age, puppies are thoroughly socialized to other dogs, cats, grooming, handling, household routines, environmental sounds, and new experiences, so then they grow into adaptable, confident, and well-prepared companions. I’m also supported by two team members who help maintain a clean, safe, and well-managed environment, ensuring every dog receives consistent care, attention, exercise, and training throughout the day.
