The Golden Family Retrievers came about shortly after we got married in 2017. We both had a love for the golden retriever breed which lead us on the path to find the perfect puppy! As we started looking around, it was easy to see the differences among breeders in our area. We had envisioned what a quality breeder would look like, but it wasn’t as easy to find. This got us both thinking that we would both love to bring joy to families across the US one puppy at a time. The characteristics we wanted to find in a breeder would be those that not only cared for the dogs/puppies like family, but to treat the customers like family as well. A puppy is a BIG commitment and to have a breeder that stands beside you the entire process is worth so much. The characteristics we wanted to find in a puppy were that of great quality, health, and temperament. Put both of the characteristics together and you have found the perfect companion.
