Meet Wendy

Hi, I'm Wendy, owner of Wendy's PAWS-ITIVE Training. My passion for Yorkshire Terriers began in 2013 with my first Yorkie, Sax Van Ruff. He completely stole my heart and inspired me to learn everything I could about the breed, canine behavior, and positive reinforcement training. Today, my focus is raising well-socialized, confident puppies by combining responsible breeding with the training experience I've gained through working with dogs of all breeds. From an early age, my puppies are gently introduced to everyday sights, sounds, people, handling, and age-appropriate enrichment. As they grow, I begin laying the foundation for good manners and confidence through positive, reward-based interactions. I believe a great puppy starts with more than good genetics. Temperament, early experiences, and ongoing support for families are just as important. My goal is to produce healthy, happy companions that transition smoothly into their new homes and become cherished members of their families. When you bring home one of my puppies, you're not just getting a dog. You're gaining a breeder who genuinely cares about each puppy and is committed to being a resource throughout your dog's life.
