Meet Working Mans Mastiffs

We are a Maryland based program with the goal of producing strong, stable, and healthy working quality dogs for family homes. In our program we breed for one of three different tasks that we ain’t to utilize our dogs for. And these are also the measuring tools we use to test our dogs to see if they meet our standard. Family protection, cart pulling/ dog drafting, or service dog work/basic obedience. If a dog doesn’t have the disposition for protection but still has great nerve and a drive to work then they may fit better as cart pullers. If they show no interest in pulling but are highly obedient and love obedience they may be better suited for service work or just strictly pet dogs. This is the system in which we test our dogs and ensure we are providing families with quality animals that are first suited to their needs and also an asset to their households. Our goal is to always breed for FAMILY use in that way we emphasize dogs that are capable but still handler and family friendly.
