Description

Look at me! I'm an absolutely adorable French Bulldog Puppy! I was born September 12th and will be ready for my forever home on November 7th. I have been raised on a farm in the country around children. Both of my parents are here with me. I am up to date on my shots and dewormers and have already been to see the local vet. I already have my microchip. If you would like more information about me or would like to set up a visit, please call or text Henry. Here's more information about Frenchies: French Bulldogs are commonly used as companion dogs and bond very well with their owners. They have an all around friendliness that makes them affectionate with their family, strangers, and even other dogs, but only if the breed is well socialized early on. They are easy to train, and therefore excellent for first time dog owners. Being companion dogs, they do not do very well being left alone, and do need their human family. Although they can be very playful, they also have a relaxed nature and enjoy napping. French Bulldogs can be quite comical and will often give lots of love, but that affection needs to be reciprocated. This breed does not tolerate heat very well and owners should ensure that their pup is not overheating or overexerting themselves on hot days. Although they do well around other dogs, especially if well socialized, they do have a tendency to be territorial and protective of their owners, so it is important they are exposed to other dogs as early as possible. French Bulldogs have small bodies that are generally very muscular, and short hair with loose, wrinkled skin that is very soft. They do not require a lot of exercise but should be walked regularly to prevent excessive weight gain. Due to their low energy requirements they do not need a lot of exercise or large areas to play, and can adapt very well to apartment style living. Although they are very easy dogs to groom, French Bulldogs are known to drool a lot and shed some, but they will also need their nails clipped routinely, as they do not wear down naturally. The breed is rather easy to train but sometimes will struggle in becoming house trained. They do best in training when they are rewarded for good behavior with food or play. French Bulldogs are typically 11-13 inches high, and usually weigh from 16 to 28 pounds, and generally have a lifespan of 10-14 years. With regular veterinary visits, much love and care your pup should live a long and happy life. Each dog breed can be prone to develop certain diseases or conditions, be sure to research your specific breed before making a purchase to ensure you´re prepared for any challenges that may arise. This information is only a generalization and we make no guarantees on any breed related to personality, appearance, or typical health characteristics. I'm so cute and cuddle you won't be able to handle it!
