Description

These Miniature Dachshund pups, named after the well-loved characters from the Lorax, are the kind that make you smile the moment you walk in the room, each one dressed in that classic black and tan coat that somehow looks sharp even on a tiny, wiggly dog. The coloring is rich and well-defined, with the tan markings showing clearly above the eyes, along the muzzle, and on the paws, just the way you'd expect from a well-bred Miniature Dachshund. They carry the breed's signature long body and short legs with a surprising amount of confidence for their size, and there's a liveliness in the way they move and interact that hints at the curious, alert nature Dachshunds are known for. They're a social bunch through and through, the type that gravitates toward people rather than shying away, and they've shown themselves to be genuinely comfortable around kids, which tells you a lot about their temperament and how they'll likely settle into family life. Dachshunds as a breed tend to form strong bonds with their people and can be surprisingly devoted companions for their size, and this litter reflects those qualities in the way they seek out attention and engage with whoever is nearby. They've been dewormed and their shots are current, so the health side of things is taken care of going in, and they're ACA registered for families who want that documentation and peace of mind. It's the kind of start that makes the transition to a new home a little smoother for everyone. If you've got questions or you'd like to set up a visit, don't hesitate to reach out, we're happy to answer any questions you may have.
