Description

Meet Luci, a fun-loving yorkie pup-- she's incredibly sweet, snuggly, playful and relaxed. She carries a beautiful black and tan coat. Her mother is a 5 1/2 pound yorkshire terrier (the grand-daughter of an imported champion male), and father is a 5 1/2 pound yorkshire terrier (a different imported champion bloodline male). In addition, Luci will arrive healthy, family-raised, and companionable. We promise you a puppy coming from parents of personable and intelligent personalities. She is microchipped, vet-checked, up to date with shots and deworming. Luci will come with a 12-month genetic health guarantee. We can hold this puppy until Christmastime, with a deposit. You are welcome to come visit, by appointment, ahead of time. We are experienced in delivery and transportation, and can arrange details to get your puppy safely home if you’re not already close by, or would prefer to not make the drive... please just text or send a message if you would like more information and quote for delivery (in message, please include your location). Please text, call or email Kendra with any questions, or to reserve today! All Sunday calls will be returned Monday morning. -0023

Pros

AKC's most popular toy breed — a companion dog royalty with nearly 150 years of US show history
Silky, continuously growing coat doesn't shed — widely considered hypoallergenic by American allergy sufferers
Outsized terrier personality in a 7-pound body — the quintessential American 'big dog in a small package'
Highly trainable for its size: consistent AKC obedience and agility competitor

Cons

The show coat requires daily attention and professional grooming every 6-8 weeks — a significant ongoing investment
Hypoglycemia in young puppies (especially Teacup-sized Yorkies) requires careful feeding management
Portosystemic liver shunts occur at higher rates in the breed — symptoms may not appear until adulthood
Fragile frame — inappropriate handling, falls, or interactions with larger dogs can cause serious injury
