Description

ASDR Registered Toy Australian Shepherd Puppies available November 12, 2026. Our litter includes two Black Tri males, one Red Tri male, and one Red Merle female. Puppies are vet checked, current on age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, and raised with daily love and socialization. Located in Arizona. Visit www.angelstacysaussies.com for additional photos and information. Mario is our second-oldest puppy and the biggest boy in the litter. He is a handsome red tri with a beautiful full collar, just like his mom. That classic collar is one of the first things you notice about him and gives him such a distinctive look. As the largest puppy in the litter, Mario has a strong, confident presence and is growing into a beautiful little Toy Australian Shepherd. We love watching his personality develop as he explores his surroundings and keeps up with his siblings. With his gorgeous red tri coloring, full collar, and resemblance to his mom, Mario is definitely one of those puppies who catches your eye. We’re excited to watch this big boy continue to grow and see how his personality develops. Sex: Male Color: Red Tri Eyes: Hazel

Pros

Australian Shepherd intelligence, trainability, and striking merle coat in a very compact, toy-sized package
Responsive, eager-to-please temperament makes training a rewarding experience
Compact enough for apartment living when daily exercise needs are met
Long lifespan of 12 to 15 years with attentive care

Cons

MDR1 gene mutation is a life-threatening veterinary safety concern — DNA testing and full veterinary disclosure are mandatory
Very small size makes the breed particularly vulnerable to injury around young children or large dogs
Herding instinct toward children, other pets, and moving objects requires consistent management from puppyhood
Very high intelligence demands consistent mental stimulation — boredom rapidly leads to behavioral issues
