Whipple Puppies

Description

Red and cream golden retrievers available. One girl and 5 boys left. They will be socialized with small children and around chickens and other dogs. They will be up to date and dewormed. We can meet in Payson at our convenience. To save your puppy, we require a $200 Non-refundable deposit that goes to the total cost and then the rest is due when you pick up. We can always FaceTime or you can come and meet them after their first set of shots before a deposit is made. He is a red retriever, with a sweet personality and likes to explore. He is available to go home the 2nd weekend in November. He will be dewormed and up to date on shots. Our puppies are well socialized with children 4 and under and are around chickens and other dogs. Mom is an AKC registered red retriever and dad is a cream retriever. Both parents have excellent temperaments and love being around our kids. They do not have health testing done. If you want to save a puppy we require a $200 NON-refundable deposit, we can always FaceTime or you can come see them after their first set of shots at 6 weeks before it is placed. We are located in Taylor but can possibly meet in Payson or Globe at our convenience if we have enough puppies going those ways. Please reach out with any questions! My email is ************ .

Pros

America's quintessential family dog — ranked #3 in AKC registration for decades, with an unrivaled reputation for gentleness with children

Exceptional versatility: guide dogs, therapy dogs, search and rescue, hunting retrievers, AKC titling competitors — all in one breed

Golden Retriever Cancer Foundation-backed health research makes this one of the most scientifically studied breeds for hereditary cancer

Social and adaptable — reliably friendly with strangers, other dogs, and animals with appropriate socialization

Cons

Cancer is the leading cause of death in American Goldens, affecting over 60% of the breed — genetic testing cannot currently screen for this

Shedding is prodigious and year-round, intensifying dramatically during biannual coat blows

The puppy phase is extensive — Goldens are frequently described as puppies until age three

High exercise requirement; separation anxiety is common in the breed when owner interaction is insufficient
