Say hello to Cedar, a handsome, sturdy male F1 Bernedoodle who perfectly embodies the "teddy bear" doodle aesthetic.
Color & Markings: Cedar is a striking abstract tricolor. Along with his rich black coat and warm rust accents, he inherited flashy white spotting from his sire, giving him adorable white socks, a bright white chest blaze, and a white tip on his tail.
Size & Build: He is one of the more substantial puppies in the litter. Expect Cedar to mature into a solid, sturdy boy weighing between 45 and 55 lbs. He has a broad chest and a blocky build reminiscent of his Bernese mother.
Coat Texture: Cedar has a beautifully plush, wavy, and low-shedding F1 coat. It is incredibly soft to the touch and will grow into a thick, luxurious shag that is highly huggable.
Personality: Cedar is a big, goofy sweetheart. He inherited the laid-back, affectionate, and famously loyal "velcro" temperament of the Bernese, mixed with the eager-to-please, happy-go-lucky nature of the Poodle. He is a fantastic family dog in the making.

We had an incredible experience with adopting our Bernie doodle puppy from Manny and Mary King. Manny was very responsive to phone calls and messages and with any request we had prior to our purchase. He had Charlie bathed and groomed for the pick up of our pup and called us several times after we brought our puppy home to check on how he was adjusting well and to see how he was doing. Couldn't be more pleased with our experience with this breeder and would be sure to recommend them to anyone looking to add a dog to their home! - Kyle Callahan, Sept 16, 2024

we had a wonderful experience with adopting our Bernie doodle puppy from Manny and Mary King. Manny was very responsive to phone calls and messages and with any request we had prior to our purchase. He was very accommodating for the delivery of our pup and called us several times after we brought our puppy home to check on how he was adjusting to his furever family. Couldn't be more pleased with our experience with this breeder and hope to come back to Manny and Mary, when we add to our Puppy family!

Pros
Combines the Bernese Mountain Dog’s legendary gentle, patient temperament with the Poodle’s intelligence and low-shedding coat
Outstanding with children — the Bernese’s family devotion is a consistent feature of the cross
Lower-shedding coat options in curly-coated individuals suit allergy-conscious households
Compact size relative to the standard Bernedoodle makes it practical for a wider range of home environments
Cons
One of the most expensive designer breeds in the United States, with puppies often exceeding $3,000
Bernese Mountain Dog parent carries serious hereditary conditions including cancer and joint disease requiring full health testing
Coat requires daily brushing and professional grooming every 6–8 weeks regardless of curl type
Strong bond to family means the breed does not cope well with extended periods of isolation
