Description

Hi We have 5 litters to go home in October. Our reservation list is open now. We offer a one-year health guarantee to cover any genetic issues. All our puppies are raised in our home, where they receive lots of love and socialization from a young age. They're dewormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks, and they visit the vet at o weeks old for a complete health check and vaccinations that are right for their age. Puppies are ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks. When your puppy arrives, we'll send you: • A small bag of their current food • AKC Limited Registration papers • A health certificate • A blanket with mom's scent to help them settle in Our parent dogs have all been health tested-eyes, hearts, hips, elbows, and DNA-and they've all passed with flying colors. The total price for a puppy is $3100 To reserve your puppy, we need a $500 deposit which will be applied to the total cost. Puppy selections start at 6 weeks old, and they're chosen in the order deposits are received. This is when their personalities really start to show! We're located in Tylertown, Mississippi, and we're happy to meet halfway for puppy pickups whenever possible. Warmly, Williams K

Pros

America's quintessential family dog — ranked #3 in AKC registration for decades, with an unrivaled reputation for gentleness with children

Exceptional versatility: guide dogs, therapy dogs, search and rescue, hunting retrievers, AKC titling competitors — all in one breed

Golden Retriever Cancer Foundation-backed health research makes this one of the most scientifically studied breeds for hereditary cancer

Social and adaptable — reliably friendly with strangers, other dogs, and animals with appropriate socialization

Cons

Cancer is the leading cause of death in American Goldens, affecting over 60% of the breed — genetic testing cannot currently screen for this

Shedding is prodigious and year-round, intensifying dramatically during biannual coat blows

The puppy phase is extensive — Goldens are frequently described as puppies until age three

High exercise requirement; separation anxiety is common in the breed when owner interaction is insufficient
