Description
Say Hello to Pearl, the sweetest F1 Chiweeie for miles around! They always say great things come in small packages and we agree! Being the perfect mix of Chihuahua and Mini Dachshund these puppies have the bright, inquisitive eyes and merry dispositions. These delightful companions possess an endearing confidence that brings laughter and warmth into the everyday moments of home. When you adopt one of our puppies they will welcome you with all the puppy kisses, cuddles, and play you could ever wish for! They are the whole doggy package with their soft, silky fur and cute button nose and they steal the hearts of everyone they meet. Always on the move and ready for an adventure, these cuties love to explore their surroundings and find new places to play and new treasures to keep them occupied! These loyal, energetic, intelligent little dogs would love to be your faithful friend! They are well socialized with people and they love to play! We have kept the pups up to date with their vaccinations and deworming. And they will be vet checked from head to toe before coming to live at your house. The Dad, Hershey, weights about 5.5 pounds and he is a Chihuahua. The Mother, Tammy, weighs about 8 pounds and she is a Mini Dachshund. Both parents are very friendly and they are both on the premises for you to meet! We know you have been looking for the perfect match and we have brought it to you! Feel free to give us a call to reserve your one and only dream puppy!

Pros
One of the most accessible companion dog crosses in America — often available in shelters and rescues as well as from breeders
Compact, adaptable apartment size with manageable exercise requirements
Bold, entertaining personality combining Chihuahua fire with Dachshund comic stubbornness
Long-lived potential: 12-15 years with good care from well-managed weight
Cons
IVDD (intervertebral disc disease) risk from the Dachshund line is significant — back injury management (no jumping, stairs, correct handling) is a lifelong requirement
Both parent breeds resist housebreaking — the Chiweenie's small bladder, stubbornness, and cold-weather reluctance make indoor accidents a persistent management challenge
Vocal and territorial: the Chihuahua's watchdog instinct combined with the Dachshund's assertiveness produces a dog that announces everything
Fragile frame cannot withstand the rough handling of young children — not suitable for households with toddlers
