We've got a litter of Miniature Dachshunds that have been an absolute joy to have around, and they're just about ready to find the right families to go home with. These pups have that classic dachshund personality, curious about everything but happy to curl up close once they feel comfortable with you. They are the sweetest puppies to spend time with, whether its curling up with them on the couch or going for walks to explore the yard. They're the kind of dogs that will follow you from room to room just to see what you're up to, and then settle right in beside you when things quiet down. There's something endearing about the way they carry themselves, compact and sturdy but with a certain alertness that tells you their minds are always working. Each one of them has a bit of a reserved quality, which just means they warm up on their own terms and tend to bond deeply once they do. It's a trait that makes them wonderfully loyal companions for the right person or family, and you'll notice pretty quickly how attentive and tuned-in to you they become. These aren't pups that are bouncing off the walls, they're thoughtful little dogs with a lot of heart underneath that curious exterior. They've been dewormed and their shots are up to date, so you can feel good about where they're starting out health-wise. We're happy to have families come out and spend some time with the litter in person before taking one home.
