Description
These Golden Retriever pups have that classic retriever energy you'd hope for, curious and wiggly and genuinely happy to be around people from the start. They're a playful bunch, the kind of dogs that naturally gravitate toward kids and seem to know instinctively how to match the energy in a room. Any one of them would settle right into a household where there's activity, laughter, and someone who wants a dog that's truly part of the family. Coats are coming in beautifully, with that rich, lustrous gold that the breed is known for, and their builds are solid and well-proportioned for their age. They have the warm, dark eyes and soft expressions that make Goldens so recognizable and so easy to fall for on sight. Beyond looks, Golden Retrievers as a breed are known for being patient, adaptable, and deeply people-oriented. They tend to form strong bonds with everyone in a household rather than attaching to just one person, which makes them a reliable companion in homes with multiple family members or children of different ages. We've made sure they're heading out healthy and ready to go, with vet checks done, deworming completed, and shots current for their age. They're ACA registered, which we know matters to some families, and we're happy to walk you through all the paperwork when the time comes. These sweet puppies will join their new families with a blanket that smells like their siblings and mother as well as a small bag of puppy food. Both their mother and father live happily here on the premises and you are welcome to meet them when coming to see the puppies. It's important to us that whoever takes one of these pups home feels confident right from the beginning. If you're thinking about a Golden and want to see this litter in person before you decide, you're more than welcome to come meet them! Feel free to reach out with any questions you have, and we'll do our best to help you figure out if one of these pups is the right fit for your home! #19420

Pros
America's quintessential family dog — ranked #3 in AKC registration for decades, with an unrivaled reputation for gentleness with children
Exceptional versatility: guide dogs, therapy dogs, search and rescue, hunting retrievers, AKC titling competitors — all in one breed
Golden Retriever Cancer Foundation-backed health research makes this one of the most scientifically studied breeds for hereditary cancer
Social and adaptable — reliably friendly with strangers, other dogs, and animals with appropriate socialization
Cons
Cancer is the leading cause of death in American Goldens, affecting over 60% of the breed — genetic testing cannot currently screen for this
Shedding is prodigious and year-round, intensifying dramatically during biannual coat blows
The puppy phase is extensive — Goldens are frequently described as puppies until age three
High exercise requirement; separation anxiety is common in the breed when owner interaction is insufficient
