Meet Moonie! She is an absolutely gorgeous little 9lb mini dachshund. We are looking for a super special home for Moonie. She is DEAF. But she also needs a home with no kids or other dogs. Moonie is fearful of men though she does come around with time and patience. She needs someone who will be around more than not. She is a pup that will bark at you when you first meet her. She is basically scared of everything. You must be willing to accept that taking her home will require some work on your part. The good news is that after time she doesn’t settle in and become fiercely loyal! She is here with other dachshunds and does great. If she is adopted with another dog here there is no fee for her. But she isn’t great at meeting new dogs.
