Description
Our Border Collie litter is out of Riley and Falcor, both of whom live with our family in the Hagerstown, Maryland area. This is a home-raised litter of 7, not a kennel litter. The puppies have been around our two young children, household noise, and our dogs from the start.
Riley, the dam, is a merle Border Collie and is AKC registered. She is steady, people-oriented, and a good mother. Falcor, the sire, is a black-and-white Border Collie from ABCA parents, with the classic working drive and focus. Puppies show merle patterning with one brown-and-white markings. Color and sex are listed on each puppy.
These are true Border Collies: smart, quick to learn, and high-energy. They do best in an active home that can give daily exercise, training, and a job — herding, farm work, agility, disc, hiking, or a busy family that wants the dog involved in the day. They are not a good match for a sedentary household, long hours alone, or someone wanting a low-maintenance pet.
Puppies are being raised in the house, socialized with people and other dogs, and started on handling. They are eating Science Diet Puppy food, have been dewormed with Nemex at 2, 4, 6 weeks, and will leave with first shots. Ready to go home at 8 weeks, on or after 10/9/26.
Riley’s AKC registration and Falcor’s ABCA-parent background can be discussed in person. Puppies are not registered as the sire was never registered.
We are looking for homes that understand the breed. Meet the parents and the puppies in person. A simple written agreement comes with each puppy. Price is $600, deposit $150. Message with questions about temperament, color, or timing.
America is the first one out the door in the morning, already looking for a new toy and somewhere new to explore. She runs hard with the boys and has started chasing frisbees with dad. Her coat is the most unique in the litter, and her personality stands out just as much.
