Description

Litter of 2 Catahoula Leopard Dog × European Golden Retriever puppies in New Brunswick, NJ Cuervo is the life of the party! He's tall, dark handsome, and a social butterfly. He leans a little more to the Golden side with his goofy charm, and definitely has an interactive and curious personality. He is huggable, expressive, and he likes to treat you like a pal. Cuervo looks like a Black Lab on sport-mode, and people will probably argue with you about what breed he is (because some people like to be self-proclaimed experts on YOUR dog.. lol). He is all black, but has a big white chest stripe that looks like a loose tie on casual Friday. Cuervo has a shiny jet black short-haired coat that is great for keeping clean and dry. He is well built, with strong, balanced features and a handsome head. A perfect blend of form and function. Cuervo is both versatile and capable; perfect for hiking, therapy, working, or just being your active sidekick. If he were a person, he'd be your super popular friend who loves to be at every party. Cuervo is fully crate trained, leash broken, and housebroken. He is great with children and other dogs. He lives in our house, never a kennel. Cuervo was raised right; in our home, surrounded by daily care, socialization, and hands-on attention from our young children. He was held, loved, and played with from day one, giving him a confident, people-oriented start in life. All four of Cuervo's grandparents are DNA tested, health tested, and registered. This litter comes from exceptional bloodlines on both sides that have been selected generation after generation with care and purpose. Both sides of his lineage has been carefully bred for health, temperament, and structure. This is a first-generation cross, which means they benefit from true hybrid vigor: enhanced longevity, rock-solid health, and sturdy, athletic builds. The Golden Retriever influence brings calmness, warmth, and gentle, family-friendly companionship, while the Catahoula influence brings energy, confidence, sharp wit, and a bold, adventurous spirit. The Golden eagerness to learn and please plus the Catahoula brains, inborn wisdom, and independence makes for a unique combination of superdog. The result is a high-IQ hybrid that thrives in both family life and rugged adventure. Goldens are pure love, and Catahoulas are pure loyalty. This combination makes for “ride-or-die” best friends. Cuervo likes other dogs and has been introduced to cats and chickens. He is perfectly fine not doing anything at all, but he's also ready to go on an athletic adventure should the opportunity present itself. He'd be amazing at off-road adventures, hikes, mountain biking, kayaking, fishing – he'd be thrilled to do anything as long as he's together with you. He's built like a deer, so don't worry about him keeping up! He was born for action, though he spends most days just hanging out (and he's perfectly fine with that, too). If Cuervo resonates with you, feel free to call us or text us to see when a good time is to arrange a call and an in-person visit. -LancasterPuppies
