Australian Shepherds are incredibly intelligent, loyal, energetic, and affectionate dogs. However, they are also a working herding breed that requires regular exercise, mental stimulation, consistent training, and plenty of companionship. Please understand that herding behaviors, including nipping at heels or ankles, can be common in this breed, especially during puppyhood. These behaviors require patience, guidance, and proper training. We would love to find homes with experienced Australian Shepherd owners or families who are genuinely committed to understanding and meeting the needs of this breed. We are not breeders!
