Description

These chocolate Lab pups have that classic look that turns heads, with rich, warm coats and those big, soulful eyes that seem to already know exactly what they want from you. Their chocolate coloring runs deep and even, somewhere between a warm milk chocolate and a darker cocoa, and their coats are soft and dense in the way that makes it hard not to reach down and give them a pet every time you walk by. They're an alert, attentive bunch, the kind that notice when something new is happening and aren't shy about letting you know they're paying attention. At the same time, they're just as happy to curl up close and settle in for a good snuggle, which tells you a lot about the kind of companions they'll grow into. Labs are naturally people-oriented dogs, and these pups carry that trait in a way that feels genuine right from the start. The breed is known for being adaptable, friendly, and patient, qualities that tend to make them reliable companions across a wide range of living situations and life stages. Whether your household is busy and active or a little more laid-back, any one of them has the temperament that tends to fit comfortably into family life. They've been vet checked, are up to date on their shots, and have been dewormed, so they're heading into their new homes on a healthy start. We're a small family setup, and we want to make sure each of these pups lands somewhere they'll be well loved and looked after. If you think that one of these cuties is the right pup for you, please feel free to call or text anytime Monday through Saturday with any questions you may have! Any Sunday messages will be returned on Monday. We look forward to hearing from you!

Pros

America's most popular breed for over 30 consecutive years — the gold standard family dog for a reason

Exceptional versatility: guide dog, service dog, search and rescue, therapy work, hunting companion, AKC competitor

Consistently gentle and trustworthy with children — the temperament benchmark for large family breeds

Food-motivated and eager to please: one of the most rewarding breeds to train

Cons

Weight management is a lifelong challenge — the Labrador's food motivation makes overfeeding extremely easy

High exercise requirement; destructive and anxious when under-stimulated

Dense double coat sheds heavily year-round, intensifying dramatically during biannual coat blows

Puppy phase lasts well past physical maturity — Labs are frequently described as two-year-olds in the body of an adult
