Description

Each of our puppies goes home pre-loved and pre-spoiled with lots of socialization. We send home tons of information on training and raising a puppy and we are so thrilled to help families find the perfect additions to their home. The puppies in this litter are from AKC Registered parents and can also be registered with the AKC. Each of our adults is OFA certified for their elbows, hips, and eyes and have yearly vet exams. Our sire for this litter has had preliminary testing for hips and elbows and has been OFA certified for eyes! These puppies are expected to be 65 to 85 pounds full grown. We offer a one-year health guarantee on our puppies. You can learn more about us and our puppies at SweetPuppyPaws. Meet the sweet Gwenn! She sure is a sweetheart and has a lovely, calm personality. Gwenn likes to play with her siblings and her toys. She adores being held and cuddled! Her beautiful mother is a red golden retriever and weighs 65lbs, and her father is a cream golden retriever and weighs 80lbs. Gwenn would come up to date on vaccinations, vet exams, and deworming. She's even microchipped and AKC registered! We also offer a one-year health guarantee. If you cannot pick up from us, we may offer shipping for an additional fee. Contact us for more information at ************ or SweetPuppyPaws.net.

Pros

America's quintessential family dog — ranked #3 in AKC registration for decades, with an unrivaled reputation for gentleness with children

Exceptional versatility: guide dogs, therapy dogs, search and rescue, hunting retrievers, AKC titling competitors — all in one breed

Golden Retriever Cancer Foundation-backed health research makes this one of the most scientifically studied breeds for hereditary cancer

Social and adaptable — reliably friendly with strangers, other dogs, and animals with appropriate socialization

Cons

Cancer is the leading cause of death in American Goldens, affecting over 60% of the breed — genetic testing cannot currently screen for this

Shedding is prodigious and year-round, intensifying dramatically during biannual coat blows

The puppy phase is extensive — Goldens are frequently described as puppies until age three

High exercise requirement; separation anxiety is common in the breed when owner interaction is insufficient
