Description
These Golden Retriever pups have that classic, soulful look about them, the kind that makes it genuinely hard to walk away without wanting to scoop one up. They carry the breed's trademark golden coat, soft and a little fluffy at this age, with warm, dark eyes and that gentle, open expression Goldens are so recognized for. Even the way they carry themselves has a certain easy warmth to it. They're a cuddly bunch, the sort of dogs that are going to want to be close to their people, whether that means leaning against your legs on the couch or following you from room to room just to stay near. If you've got kids in the house, that's a real plus with this litter, because they've shown a natural ease and gentleness around little ones that's just good to see. Goldens are already known for being warm, sociable dogs, and these pups carry that quality in spades. They're the kind of companions that fit into a busy family rhythm without a lot of fuss, adaptable and affectionate in equal measure. Each one of them has that steady, good-natured temperament the breed is so well loved for, and it comes through clearly when you spend a little time with them. That calm, people-oriented nature tends to make Goldens genuinely easy to live with, the sort of dog that's as content relaxing beside you on a quiet evening as they are out on a walk or playing in the yard with the kids. They've been vet checked, dewormed, and their shots are up to date, so you'd be bringing home a pup that's already had a solid start on the health side of things. Families are more than welcome to come out and spend some time with the puppies. Their mother Pearl is a family pet that happily lives here on the premises and you are welcome to meet her when coming to meet the puppies. If you think one of these pups might be the right fit for your home, feel free to reach out anytime with any questions you have. #18894

Pros
America's quintessential family dog — ranked #3 in AKC registration for decades, with an unrivaled reputation for gentleness with children
Exceptional versatility: guide dogs, therapy dogs, search and rescue, hunting retrievers, AKC titling competitors — all in one breed
Golden Retriever Cancer Foundation-backed health research makes this one of the most scientifically studied breeds for hereditary cancer
Social and adaptable — reliably friendly with strangers, other dogs, and animals with appropriate socialization
Cons
Cancer is the leading cause of death in American Goldens, affecting over 60% of the breed — genetic testing cannot currently screen for this
Shedding is prodigious and year-round, intensifying dramatically during biannual coat blows
The puppy phase is extensive — Goldens are frequently described as puppies until age three
High exercise requirement; separation anxiety is common in the breed when owner interaction is insufficient
