Description

All puppies are ENS & ESI trained. Keanu is an absolute heart‑melter — the kind of mini Bernedoodle who makes you smile the moment you meet him. He’s the perfect blend of teddy‑bear softness and bright, eager personality. His coat is plush and wavy, his eyes warm and expressive, and he carries himself with that gentle confidence Bernedoodles are known for. Keanu has completed ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and ESI (Early Scent Introduction), giving him a wonderful head start in resilience, adaptability, and emotional stability. Puppies with this foundation tend to handle new environments, people, and experiences with ease — and Keanu is no exception. He’s curious, calm, and delightfully people‑focused. He has also been vet‑checked, ensuring he’s healthy, thriving, and ready for his next adventure. Whether he’s snuggling in your lap, trotting beside you on a walk, or learning a new trick, Keanu brings a sweet, steady energy that makes him an exceptional companion.

Pros

Combines the Bernese Mountain Dog's legendary family temperament with the Poodle's trainability and low-shed coat

Three size categories (Standard, Mini, Tiny) with the Standard offering the most predictable Bernese temperament expression

American Bernedoodle breeders have developed some of the most rigorous health testing in the designer dog market given the Bernese's cancer prevalence

Striking tricolor coat pattern in many individuals — the Bernese markings in a soft, low-shed texture

Cons

Cancer is the leading cause of death in Bernese Mountain Dogs — this significantly shapes the Bernedoodle's lifespan unpredictability, particularly in Standard size individuals

Lifespan varies dramatically by size: Standard Bernedoodles average 7-12 years; Tiny Bernedoodles may reach 14-18 years

The premium price ($2,000-$5,000) reflects demand rather than guaranteed health outcomes — health testing documentation is essential

Coat requires professional grooming every 6-8 weeks; the Bernedoodle's dense fleece mats faster than many owners anticipate
