Description
14wk old, pure bred female Rottweiler (I have the DNA results to prove it) for sale. My family and I purchased her from a breeder about 4 weeks ago and we’ve come to realize that we are not dog people. We both work full-time, my husband has a part-time, I’m in school full-time and my kids have extracurricular activities. I initially thought that we could manage with the dog but we’ve realized that we cannot.
She is up-to-date on all shots, dewormer and flea & tick treatment. She hasn’t been microchipped yet, however, I’ll have that done next Thursday if she isn’t sold by then.
She has an account with Banfield under the Optimum Wellness Plan (monthly payment of $119 that covers all vaccines and future spaying). We can discuss transferring the acount over to the new owner so that her care isn’t interrupted; unless you’d like to have her treated at a different vet. She’ll also come with a playpen BUT can (and will, LOL) jump out of it. We primarily use it when she’s not in the crate or outside playing, with constant supervision. She does sleep all night without waking (from about 8:30PM - 5AM. She’s also used to leash walking and is doing pretty well with it.
She comes with:
- white luxury dog crate
- 3 waterproof dog blankets
- 1 large dog cushion for the crate
- 2 small dog beds
- a carrying bag & car seat (she’ll outgrow these very soon)
- tons of toys, treats and gadgets
We have two small kids (10 & 6) and Kenzie has been excellent with them, as well as other neighborhood kids. We have not had the time to socialize her with other dogs yet but there’s still plenty of time for that (Pet Smart has affordable classes for this). She is partially house-broken and follows the commands: eat, down, sit, come, open (her playpen door & crate door). After she goes poo or pee outside, I immediately say “Good Girl” and she definitely knows that phrase means she gets a reward treat.
She has been on a steady diet of natural food mixed with Blue Buffalo for puppies. She still has plenty of her daily vitamins and treats, as well. I paid $900 for the dog and I’m asking for a rehoming fee of $600, which includes everything listed above, and more. I’m located in Southern Maryland and am willing to travel to drop off for a nominal fee.
Please note that this puppy has been in a very loving home and our goal is to have her final home be just as loving. I would like to vet potential buyers to ensure that. I’m not willing to hold her for long, as she’s getting older and needs to find her forever home ASAP.
Serious inquiries only.
Kenzie is lovable, cute, playful but also enjoys her rest! She makes a fantastic playmate with smaller children and loves to play a little rougher with adults.
