Description

Hi, my name is Arthur! I’m an adorable AKC Dachshund puppy with a sweet personality and a fun-loving, playful nature. I love exploring my surroundings, playing, and spending time with the people around me. I have that classic Dachshund charm and a curious little personality that makes me so much fun to be around. Whether it’s playtime, discovering something new, or getting some extra attention, I’m always happy to be part of the fun! I’m well socialized and receive lots of love, care, and attention as I grow. I’m getting a wonderful start in life and am learning all about the world around me. I’ll make a great companion for a family looking for a friendly, affectionate puppy to share their days with. I’m up to date on my shots and dewormer, have been vet checked, and am microchipped. I’m also AKC registered and will come with a health guarantee to give my new family extra peace of mind. My mom, Bella, weighs around 11 pounds, and my dad, Danny, weighs approximately 10.5 pounds. I come from some pretty adorable parents! If you’re looking for a sweet Dachshund puppy with a playful personality and lots of love to share, I may be just the one you’ve been looking for! Pros

AKC's most popular hound breed — combining apartment-friendly size with a genuine hunting dog's tenacity

Three coat varieties (smooth, wirehaired, longhaired) and two sizes (standard and miniature) offer real choice

Long-lived breed — well-cared Dachshunds regularly reach 12-16 years

Vocal watchdog in a small package — highly alert and protective despite modest size

Cons

IVDD (intervertebral disc disease) is the most significant breed health crisis — spinal injury risk is real and lifelong

Stubborn, independent terrier-like character requiring consistent patience in training

Strong prey drive and determined digging instinct — yards must be secured, small pets carefully managed

Housebreaking is notoriously difficult — a consistent crate-training approach from day one is essential
