Bob's Labs

Description

Bailey Yelow Labrador Retriever mother had 10 beautiful puppies on August 14th. The puppies are loving, playful, highly intelligent, and easy to train. My puppies are hand-raised in my home, where they get plenty of love and socialization training. Both parents live at my house, and the puppies are very friendly. They already have had their 1st set of shots and have been given medication for worms. They all also have had a health evaluation at Alisos Animal Hospital, passing with flying colors. Mission Viejo, C.A. 92691 Elvis back male, Goldie yellow female, Cooper black male, Tucker yellow male, Lilly chocolate female, Daisey black female, Rosie chocolate female, Stella chocolate female, Cinnamon chocolate female, and Sadie choc female. Stella, a 7-week-old Labrador retriever puppy is a bundle of pure, clumsy joy. She is just starting to really explore the world with curious demeanor, floppy ears, and a constantly wagging tail. Every new sight is an adventure, and she is always ready to curl up in your lap for a nap after playtime. She loves to bite and go after your shoestrings so look out ;)

Pros

America's most popular breed for over 30 consecutive years — the gold standard family dog for a reason
Exceptional versatility: guide dog, service dog, search and rescue, therapy work, hunting companion, AKC competitor
Consistently gentle and trustworthy with children — the temperament benchmark for large family breeds
Food-motivated and eager to please: one of the most rewarding breeds to train

Cons

Weight management is a lifelong challenge — the Labrador's food motivation makes overfeeding extremely easy
High exercise requirement; destructive and anxious when under-stimulated
Dense double coat sheds heavily year-round, intensifying dramatically during biannual coat blows
Puppy phase lasts well past physical maturity — Labs are frequently described as two-year-olds in the body of an adult
