Description

Hi! I am Willa, the smallest and cutest Yorkshire Terrier pup for miles around! My human friends say I am the smallest bundle of joy they ever had, and they are not kidding. Right now, I am so tiny that I can comfortably nap right inside your favorite slipper or curl up in the palm of your hand. When I run across the living room rug, my little paws make the softest pitter-patter sounds ever, and I have to hop and pop to run in the lawn! I look just like a moving piece of fluff! I am on pace to weigh 2 pounds when I am grown!! My people are doing a great job of playing with me, getting me very sociable, and ready to come live at your house. I love to play with toys and people! Especially little people and I get to play with them a lot! If I am not napping, you can find me tugging and chewing on my puppy toys and living my best puppy life! I also enjoy finding a nice cozy spot to take a nice nap after I have run off all my energy! I would love to happily cuddle up contentedly in your lap for lots of gentle strokes and ear scratches. I am all up to date with vaccinations and deworming. And I will be vet check from noes to toes by a vet before coming to live at your house. My mother weighs 4 pounds and my dad weighs 3 pounds. My mother is also on the premises for you to meet. We Yorkies are devoted to our owners and thrive on being part of the family. We have a lively personality and love to play. We are smart and get along well with children and other pets. So if you are interested in adopting me, please give my people a call for more information.

Original breeder

Pros

AKC's most popular toy breed — a companion dog royalty with nearly 150 years of US show history

Silky, continuously growing coat doesn't shed — widely considered hypoallergenic by American allergy sufferers

Outsized terrier personality in a 7-pound body — the quintessential American 'big dog in a small package'

Highly trainable for its size: consistent AKC obedience and agility competitor

Cons

The show coat requires daily attention and professional grooming every 6-8 weeks — a significant ongoing investment

Hypoglycemia in young puppies (especially Teacup-sized Yorkies) requires careful feeding management

Portosystemic liver shunts occur at higher rates in the breed — symptoms may not appear until adulthood

Fragile frame — inappropriate handling, falls, or interactions with larger dogs can cause serious injury
