Description

Wanted: Human to steal my heart. Must love scratching my ears and belly. Prefer someone who likes to play and likes to snuggle with me during nap time. In return I offer endless tail wags, silly Shih Tsu antics and sweet puppy kisses. I may even steal your heart and I will do my best not to steal your lunch (no promises.) Rachel is a Shih Tzu with a personality that really draws you in the moment you meet her. She carries herself with a quiet confidence, and her curiosity means she's always interested in what's going on around her. She's the kind of dog who settles into a new environment and starts exploring it rather than hanging back, which tells you a lot about the temperament she's going to grow into. In terms of appearance, Rachel has the soft, flowing coat and expressive round eyes that Shih Tzus are known for. Her face has that warm, open look that tends to stop people in their tracks, and her build is sturdy but compact in the way the breed typically is. Shih Tzus were originally bred as companion dogs, and you can see that history in the way Rachel naturally orients toward people. She's attentive without being anxious, and comfortable without being aloof. Rachel's had her shots, she's been dewormed, and she's been looked over by a vet, so you're not walking into any surprises. She's also ACA registered. Shih Tzus tend to be wonderful companions. She's likely to be just as content sitting near you on a quiet evening as she is exploring a new space or meeting someone for the first time. That adaptability is one of the things that makes the breed such a good fit for a wide range of households. If she sounds like a good fit for your family, we'd love for you to come out and spend some time with her in person before making any decisions. Sometimes you just have to meet a puppy to know, and we think Rachel is one worth meeting. License# 4327
