Description
We are looking to rehome our purebred 6-month-old male Newfoundland to a loving, responsible family who can give him the space and care he deserves.
He is very sweet, affectionate, and gentle, especially with children. He is up to date on all vaccinations and has been raised with lots of love and attention. At home, he knows the commands sit, stay, lay down, and release.
Unfortunately, we recently had to move into a second-floor apartment, which is not an ideal environment for a growing Newfoundland and his joints. After discussing his needs with our vet, we feel that finding him a home with appropriate space and ideally easier outdoor access is the best decision for him.
Our vet has also advised us to wait until approximately 1.5–2 years of age before neutering, so we are passing that information along to his future family.
We are asking a very negotiable $2,000 and he will come with everything we have for him, including:
Food
Veterinary/vaccination records
Toys
Leashes and other supplies
Any other items we have that will help make his transition easier
We paid quite a bit for him, including his additional vaccinations and our travel to Colorado to bring him home from his breeder, so finding the right home is much more important to us than simply selling him.
If you are seriously interested, please tell us a little about your family, home, experience with large breeds, and what kind of life you would provide for him.
We want to make sure he goes to a wonderful, permanent home where he will be loved and well cared for.
Brown with white on chest.
Calm demeanor.
Easy trained.
Price negotiable.
