Description

Meet Maple! 💙 She is a stunning blue merle tricolor Bernedoodle with the sweetest, most lovable personality! Maple has an outstanding temperament and does absolutely wonderful with children. She loves to play and have fun, but she is just as happy snuggling up for some cuddles. She has that perfect balance of being playful and adventurous while also having a sweet, affectionate, laid-back side. She is sure to make an amazing family companion! Maple is estimated to weigh approximately 40–50 pounds full-grown. She has a strong genetic foundation for beautiful furnishings and is expected to have a gorgeous, loose wavy coat with the potential to shed very little, if at all. Both parents have completed genetic health testing, and Maple will come with a one-year genetic health guarantee for added peace of mind. She has also received her puppy wellness exam from our veterinarian to ensure she is healthy and ready for her new home. She is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and will be ready to join her forever family on or after November 7! If you’re looking for a beautiful blue merle girl with an exceptional temperament, a loving personality, and the perfect mix of playful and cuddly, Maple could be the perfect addition to your family! Feel free to reach out anytime for more information. 💙🐾

Pros

Combines the Bernese Mountain Dog's legendary family temperament with the Poodle's trainability and low-shed coat

Three size categories (Standard, Mini, Tiny) with the Standard offering the most predictable Bernese temperament expression

American Bernedoodle breeders have developed some of the most rigorous health testing in the designer dog market given the Bernese's cancer prevalence

Striking tricolor coat pattern in many individuals — the Bernese markings in a soft, low-shed texture

Cons

Cancer is the leading cause of death in Bernese Mountain Dogs — this significantly shapes the Bernedoodle's lifespan unpredictability, particularly in Standard size individuals

Lifespan varies dramatically by size: Standard Bernedoodles average 7-12 years; Tiny Bernedoodles may reach 14-18 years

The premium price ($2,000-$5,000) reflects demand rather than guaranteed health outcomes — health testing documentation is essential

Coat requires professional grooming every 6-8 weeks; the Bernedoodle's dense fleece mats faster than many owners anticipate
