Description
On October 7, 2026, Athena welcomed six beautiful Miniature Schnauzer puppies, two boys and four girls. They’re being raised right in our home, and it’s been a joy to watch their little personalities come out, from the bold explorers to the ones who would happily nap in your arms.
Miniature Schnauzers have been part a huge part of our family. We love their big-dog confidence, quick minds, and loyalty, all in a compact, low-shedding companion who’s just as happy coming along for an adventure as curling up beside you afterward.
Meet Mom: Athena Raagas Heart PH is AKC registered and earned her Philippine Champion title. Her OFA patella, eye, and cardiac results were normal, and her Embark DNA panel was clear for all three variants the report identifies as relevant to Miniature Schnauzers. At home, she’s my affectionate little shadow. She loves coming along to see the horses, going on trips, and getting a puppuccino whenever she can. As much as I’m proud of what she’s accomplished in the show ring, it’s her sweet, devoted nature that makes her so special to me.
Meet Dad: Rangel’s Phantom, affectionately known as Casper, belongs to my breeding partner, who made him available as the sire of this litter. He’s a European world traveler turned laid-back Southern California boy, with an established Miniature Schnauzer pedigree and a distinguished beard. We chose him for this pairing with temperament, structure, and pedigree in mind. He’s bright, playful, and affectionate, with the poise to strike a pose and the easygoing personality that makes him such good company.
How we raise our puppies: Our pups grow up in a loving home, in a space we clean and sanitize regularly. We weigh each puppy daily to track growth, pay close attention to how each one is eating, and supplement feedings when needed. Their days include plenty of rest, gentle handling and cuddles with our family, and playtime with Athena and their littermates. Everyday household sounds and routines are part of their world from the start. We leave their tails natural, and we love seeing those little wags as they get more curious and confident.
Our goal is to give each puppy a healthy start and help them grow into a confident, affectionate companion. We love getting to know the families who reach out and sharing the little things we notice about each puppy so you can find one who feels right for your home.
The puppies are expected to be ready to go home in early December. We’re based in San Diego, CA with pickup available in the Dallas, TX area with prior arrangement. If you’d like to meet the puppies or learn more about a particular pup, send me a message and tell me a little about the companion you’re looking for. I’d love to introduce you to our little cast of six!
Meet Tiny Tim, our tiny-but-mighty little gentleman! He’s the smallest of the litter, with a mostly dark coat and soft, lighter shading on his muzzle and legs. He was among the first to find his feet, and we love watching him head off on a little adventure before coming back for a cuddle. Tiny is sweet, brave, and happiest when there’s a lap waiting for him. He’d make a wonderful companion for someone who loves a little explorer with a big soft spot for snuggles.
Black & silver is our best estimate based on this puppy’s coat today. At this age, it’s still early to tell whether the adult coat will be Black & Silver or Salt & Pepper.
We raise our pups at home in a clean, regularly sanitized space. We weigh each pup daily to track growth and supplement feedings as needed. We leave tails natural for happy wags. Based between California and Texas, we look for loving homes and can help arrange transportation.
