Description

Hi there! my name is Simon and Im a fluffy little Yorkie boy with a big personality packed into my tiny body! Im playful, curious, and always ready to see whats happening around me. Im very responsive and alert, so when you talk to me, you can bet Im listening! I love human interaction and think people are pretty wonderful. Honestly, I love everybody! My favorite things are playing, exploring, getting attention, and being right where the action is. I have a fun-loving spirit that makes every day more exciting, and after a good round of puppy adventures, Im always happy to settle down for some cuddles. Im the kind of little companion who wants to be involved in everything and will happily follow my people around. My dad is Hillside Tigger, and my mom is Mackenzie's Bliss. They have given me a wonderful start, and now Im ready to find my very own family to love! Ive been vet checked and have received my shots and dewormer, so Im ready to continue growing into a happy, healthy companion. If youre looking for a fluffy, playful Yorkie with an outgoing personality and lots of love to give, I just might be your perfect match!

Pros

AKC's most popular toy breed — a companion dog royalty with nearly 150 years of US show history

Silky, continuously growing coat doesn't shed — widely considered hypoallergenic by American allergy sufferers

Outsized terrier personality in a 7-pound body — the quintessential American 'big dog in a small package'

Highly trainable for its size: consistent AKC obedience and agility competitor

Cons

The show coat requires daily attention and professional grooming every 6-8 weeks — a significant ongoing investment

Hypoglycemia in young puppies (especially Teacup-sized Yorkies) requires careful feeding management

Portosystemic liver shunts occur at higher rates in the breed — symptoms may not appear until adulthood

Fragile frame — inappropriate handling, falls, or interactions with larger dogs can cause serious injury
