The Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog, also known as the Alapaha Blue Blood or Otto Bulldog, is named after the Alapaha River in Georgia, USA, where it originated as a modernized version of plantation catch dogs once used in the Deep South. Originally bred to hunt vermin and capture prey, this rare breed nearly became extinct after the American Civil War before being revived by a dedicated farmer and his granddaughter. The Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog was recognized by the Animal Research Foundation in 1986, though not yet by the American Kennel Club. These stocky dogs feature a broad head, droopy ears, prominent muzzle, and a short, smooth coat typically in blue merle, brown merle, or red merle patterns with moderate shedding.
Loyal, obedient, and protective, Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldogs are devoted companions who love to please their owners but require substantial human attention to prevent separation anxiety and destructive behaviors. Despite their size, they do well with children and make excellent playmates, though their extremely alert nature makes them suspicious of strangers and territorial with other pets unless properly socialized from puppyhood. These medium-energy dogs require moderate daily exercise including long leashed walks and time to run freely in secure, enclosed areas. Their low-maintenance coat needs only weekly brushing to stay healthy and remove dead hair, with bathing required only occasionally unless used in working capacities around livestock.

"Bear-Bear," is the solo male and hence certainly will be the biggest/heaviest of the litter. He displays great structure, a soft passive loving temperament (to this point). He is pretty much fawn w/ some black faded in at certain spots. His face reminds me to an extent to that of a bullmastiff color-wise, anyways.

"Tot-Tot," has a tiny head and loves to eat leaving her w/ a big tummy hence the name. She has a slight cropping of one ear from another pup and tail is bent a bit. She has a beautiful little face with a predominantly brindle colorway; she is very unique and sweet. I still value this pup, but the two flaws as mentioned result in a discounted price.

"Bonita," as displayed below is white with a large-pied brindle patch on back as well as other brindle patches. The brindle is a grey/silver color. She most likely will be one of the taller/heavier of the litter and displays promising structure, temperament, and possibly some athleticism.
