The American Bully is a modern companion breed developed in the 1980s by crossing the American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, and various bulldogs. Recognized by the American Bully Kennel Club but not the AKC, it was bred to combine strength and confidence with a calm, affectionate temperament.
