The Cavapoo, also known as the Cavoodle, is a gentle and affectionate hybrid created by crossing the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with the Poodle. Cavapoo generations — such as F1, F1b, F1bb, and F2 — differ mainly in coat predictability and allergy-friendly qualities. F1b Cavapoos, bred from an F1 and a purebred Poodle, are typically around 75% Poodle and are more likely to have hypoallergenic, curly coats. F2 Cavapoos, bred from two F1 parents, can show more variation in coat type and appearance, ranging from curly to straighter Spaniel-influenced coats.
