The Cockapoo — also known as the Cockerpoo, Spoodle, or Cockerdoodle — is a well-loved cross between the Cocker Spaniel and the Poodle, famous for its affectionate nature, intelligence, and often low-shedding coat. Generations such as F1, F1b, F2, F3, and F4 Cockapoos differ mainly in coat predictability and genetic makeup. F1 Cockapoos are a 50/50 mix and can vary in coat type. Later generations like F2, F3, and F4 — produced by breeding two Cockapoos together — tend to offer more consistency in appearance, including the popular teddy-bear look.
