Mini Bernedoodle Puppies for sale in Kansas City, Kansas

Also known as the Mini Bernadoodle or Mini Bernepoo, the Mini Bernedoodle is a friendly and intelligent designer crossbreed between the Miniature Poodle and the Bernese Mountain Dog. This popular doodle breed comes in multiple generations to suit different needs: F1 Mini Bernedoodles are a 50/50 first-generation cross typically weighing 30-50 pounds with wavy to curly, low-shedding coats. F1B Mini Bernedoodles (75% Poodle, 25% Bernese) offer curlier, more hypoallergenic coats perfect for allergy sufferers. For maximum allergy-friendliness, F1BB Mini Bernedoodles (87.5% Poodle) provide extremely low-shedding coats in a smaller 20-35 pound size. F2B Mini Bernedoodles (62.5% Poodle) balance non-shedding qualities with the gentle Bernese temperament, while Multigen Mini Bernedoodles (25-49 pounds) offer the most predictable traits with consistent low-shedding coats and stable personalities—ideal for families seeking a reliable, hypoallergenic companion.

Developed in the early 2000s as a smaller, allergy-friendly alternative to standard Bernedoodles, these mini doodles stand 17-22 inches tall and feature soft, wavy, or curly coats in stunning colors including black, white, brown, cream, red, tri-color, and phantom patterns. Mini Bernedoodles are affectionate, sociable family dogs that excel with children and other pets, combining the loyal Bernese Mountain Dog temperament with Poodle intelligence. Their eager-to-please nature and high trainability make them perfect for first-time dog owners. Grooming requirements vary by generation: F1 Mini Bernedoodles need brushing several times weekly, while F1B, F1BB, and Multigen varieties require more frequent brushing and professional grooming every 6-8 weeks to maintain their curlier, non-shedding coats. With moderate exercise needs, a 12-15 year lifespan, and generally good health (regular vet visits recommended for hip dysplasia, allergies, and eye issues), the Mini Bernedoodle is a versatile, low-shedding companion perfect for both active families and relaxed households looking for a hypoallergenic dog breed.
