The Olde English Bulldogge — often called the OEB — is a modern recreation of the traditional 18th-century Bulldog, designed to capture the breed’s classic look while improving its health, temperament, and athleticism. Although it resembles the English Bulldog, the Olde English Bulldogge is a distinct breed known for its strength, loyalty, and gentle disposition. Their short, smooth coats can come in brindle, gray, brown, or fawn and are easy to maintain with only occasional brushing and bathing. Olde English Bulldogges are loyal, protective, and eager to please, though a bit stubborn at times — consistent, confident training works best. They thrive on attention and should be given plenty of toys or bones to satisfy their love of chewing. Moderate daily exercise, like a 30-minute walk and playtime, keeps them happy and healthy. While they shed lightly year-round, they are not hypoallergenic.
