The Olde English Bulldogge — often called the OEB — is a modern recreation of the traditional 18th-century Bulldog, designed to capture the breed’s classic look while improving its health, temperament, and athleticism. Although it resembles the English Bulldog, the Olde English Bulldogge is a distinct breed known for its strength, loyalty, and gentle disposition. These dogs are affectionate and devoted companions with a courageous yet friendly nature, making them excellent family pets and dependable guardians.
The breed was developed in the 1970s by David Leavitt in Pennsylvania, who sought to produce a healthier and more functional version of the English Bulldog. By crossing English Bulldogs, American Bulldogs, American Pit Bull Terriers, and Bullmastiffs, Leavitt created a muscular, agile dog with fewer breathing problems and a friendlier temperament. He later founded the Olde English Bulldogge Association to preserve and promote the breed. The OEB features a broad, athletic frame, a wrinkled face, and a slightly longer muzzle than the modern English Bulldog, which helps improve airflow. Their short, smooth coats can come in brindle, gray, brown, or fawn and are easy to maintain with only occasional brushing and bathing. Olde English Bulldogges are loyal, protective, and eager to please, though a bit stubborn at times — consistent, confident training works best. They thrive on attention and should be given plenty of toys or bones to satisfy their love of chewing. Moderate daily exercise, like a 30-minute walk and playtime, keeps them happy and healthy. While they shed lightly year-round, they are not hypoallergenic. With their even temperament, muscular build, and affectionate heart, the Olde English Bulldogge is a perfect balance of power and gentleness, embodying the best traits of its Bulldog ancestry.

"Bear-Bear," is the solo male and hence certainly will be the biggest/heaviest of the litter. He displays great structure, a soft passive loving temperament (to this point). He is pretty much fawn w/ some black faded in at certain spots. His face reminds me to an extent to that of a bullmastiff color-wise, anyways.

"Tot-Tot," has a tiny head and loves to eat leaving her w/ a big tummy hence the name. She has a slight cropping of one ear from another pup and tail is bent a bit. She has a beautiful little face with a predominantly brindle colorway; she is very unique and sweet. I still value this pup, but the two flaws as mentioned result in a discounted price.
