He later founded the Olde English Bulldogge Association to preserve and promote the breed. The OEB features a broad, athletic frame, a wrinkled face, and a slightly longer muzzle than the modern English Bulldog, which helps improve airflow. Their short, smooth coats can come in brindle, gray, brown, or fawn and are easy to maintain with only occasional brushing and bathing. Olde English Bulldogges are loyal, protective, and eager to please, though a bit stubborn at times — consistent, confident training works best.
