The Puggle has one of the clearest origin stories among designer breeds. By the mid-2000s, the Puggle had become the most widely owned designer dog in the U.S. Physically, Puggles combine features from both parents: a medium-length muzzle, long legs, dark expressive eyes, floppy ears, and a reddish-brown coat often accented with black markings.
