The Siberian Husky is one of the world’s most recognizable breeds, admired for its wolf-like appearance, intelligence, and friendly nature. Originally bred by the Chukchi people of Siberia to pull sleds across vast snowy landscapes, Huskies were also valued as gentle family companions who lived harmoniously within the household. They made their way to Alaska in the early 1900s for sled races and quickly gained fame for their endurance and speed. Huskies are medium-sized, athletic dogs with thick double coats, striking blue or brown eyes, and high-set, triangular ears.
