Meet Deep Space Dachshunds

We are owners and breeders of AKC registered miniature dachshunds. Our dogs are family first! My wife and I purchased our first dachshund in 2020 to celebrate our anniversary. I had been in love with the breed since 2015, after staying with a friend who owned two of them for just over a month. We named our first dog Leeta, and she has been a wonderful part of our family ever since. We owned the breeding rights to Leeta, but due to several moves we were unable to breed her until late 2024. We worked with the Tampa Bay Kennel Club and the Florida East Coast Dachshund Club to carefully match her with the right stud, and she had a beautiful litter in January 2025. We still have one of her puppies, a lovely black and tan just like her mother, named Kira Nerys. Leeta had a second litter on St Patrick's Day in March 2026, and she will retire from breeding after that, but we will remain active club members, and we are committed to ethical breeding in the future towards ensuring the healthiest possible mini dachshunds.

My wife and I purchased Leeta to celebrate our anniversary in 2020, just before the pandemic hit. Leeta spent her formative months chasing our cats around the house, and everyone who meets her falls in love. Leeta has traveled all over the country by plane and on road trips, and she has been on so many adventures, but there is nothing she loves more than cuddling on the couch after an afternoon swimming in our pool. She is affectionate, energetic, and very clever, being able to perform over a half-dozen tricks on command. Leeta had her first litter in January 2025, and her final litter was born in March 2026. We look forward to spending many more years with this exceptional dog.
