Ell-e has a sweet disposition and lets us know when she wants attention. We got her when she was 6 months old and she was already a calm, easy to groom girl. Despite showing a few signs that the previous owners may have hit her at least a few times, and she was left in a kennel with only a few hours out of it every day, she still adapted easily with minimal effort. She is a great mother and she barks at my husband when he gets home because she wants to show off her puppies to him, again. She and Mugg-z have been together since they were 6 months old. And they hit it off immediately. She averages 27 lbs, and hasn't met a meat treat she doesn't like.

Mugg-z is a medium sized dog with swirling fur on his body and curls around his ears. He has similar traits as the golden retriever with the long fur down the back of his hind legs, plus the little shag off the front legs, the snout, ear shape, and the long tail. He is incredibly smart and lives people. He is also more like a guard dog around certain strangers and dogs. He is sensitive to my feelings when i'm getting stressed out. I talk to him as I would a human "Excuse me please." He moves to the side. He was the only puppy in his litter that looked more like a retriever than a poodle.
When Ell-e went for her first rabies shot with us, she didn't feel well. Mugg-z laid next to her and put his paw on her paw. I have never known of dogs responding like this but Mugg-z was my first dog as an adult and our faimily's first pet. He also knows how to keep it cute...We noticed a lot of their litter is sweet like mom, smart like dad. And we are grateful for all of them.
