Hi! I’m Janessa, a Blue Merle Australian Shepherd pup, ready to jump into your life with endless fun and love. I’ve been nurtured in a joyful home filled with laughter and games, where my mom, Anna-Belle, a 55-pound Aussie, and my dad, Buddy, a Blue Merle Tri Aussie, have taught me how to be a great pup.

Our human family includes seven lively kids, adding even more excitement with four grandkids. As for me, I'm known for my beautiful Blue Merle coat and my spirited, affectionate nature, ideal for any adventure or cozy cuddle.

Here’s how I’m prepared to be part of your family:

  • Microchipped: For safety, so we’re never apart for long.
  • Crate-Trained: I sleep peacefully through the night and stay calm in new places in my crate, which I’ll bring along to help me settle in quickly.
  • Health Assurances: I’m up-to-date on vaccinations and de-worming, and come with a 1-year genetic health guarantee for your peace of mind.
  • Starter Pack: Includes a bag of my favorite food to ease my transition to your home.

I’m excited to meet you and begin our adventures together, bringing a puppy’s love and joy to your life. If you’re ready for a playful and loving companion, reach out and let’s start our journey.

Puppy love and excited tail wags, Janessa 🐾

Look at me! I am an Australian Shepherd puppy! My Mom is Tobi. I was born on March 20th and I will be ready for my forever home on May 15th! I have been family raised on a farm in the country around children. I have had my shots and de-wormers. I will be checked by a veterinarian. For more information or to schedule a visit with me, please contact Marty and Rachel Monday through Saturday. All Sunday calls will be returned on Monday.

Here is some more information about the Australian Shepherd -

Australian Shepherds, bred initially to herd livestock and be work dogs, have maintained their energetic nature and are happiest when given a task and being played with. These dogs are very intelligent and thrive when performing activities and love to learn new tricks and games. They are easy to train and highly intelligent, but do have a tendency to bark or howl, and use their mouth to communicate by chewing or play-biting, and for this reason usually enjoy activities such as fetch. Aussies are prone to explore and have very high energy needs. It is important for them to get lots of exercise; they are very playful and not receiving the attention they need could lead to them developing destructive tendencies or being loud. Without a job to do they will often invent their own job so it is important to keep them occupied; they can even learn how to help with chores! Their ability to perform tasks make them excellent guide dogs for personal assistance and they excel at search and rescue or police work as well. Australian Shepherds can make excellent family dogs for active families. They are very loyal and bond well with owners while also doing well with strangers and other dogs as well. Their tendency to herd may have them gently herding kids, but they usually do really well with children!
